I have resisted the urge to post up a Daft Punk song today because I'm pretty sure that everyone and their mother has already heard the entire album.  Instead I wanted to highlight another one of my favorite artists that I feel deserves the spotlight just as much as anyone.  Jon Hopkins creates some amazing sonic textures with his music, and it almost always leads me to obsessively listen to each and everyone one of his songs.  "Open Eye Signal," the first song to be released from his new album Immunity that drops next week, is no different.  Plug in, lean back and check out the song below.

If you haven't heard Kacey Musgraves' new record, you need to. She's changing the game of country music and music in general. Look out. Here's one of my favorites from her debut album Same Trailer, Different Park. Follow Your Arrow...

Ever wonder what's going on inside a zombie's mind?  What do they think about? Do they have feelings?  I bet most people would say something along the lines of "BRAAAAINS BRAAAIIIIINNNSSS ARRRRGGGGGHHHH."  Well  you will be surprised to find out that it's much more than that.

Next Friday (Feb. 1st) Jonathan Levine, director of 50/50, unleashes a new look at the everyday life of a zombie with his film Warm Bodies, based on Issac Marion's novel.  The film stars Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer as a star-crossed, Romeo & Juliet type couple except...oops...one of them is an undead, brain-eating zombie.  As you could imagine, that poses some issues, or maybe more like many issues.  Warm Bodies is a horror-comedy with an emotional heartbeat, or in R's case, no heartbeat.

Check out the trailer for Warm Bodies (opening Feb. 1st) below, along with the first 4 minutes of the movie!!  If you like what you see, grab tickets for next weekend right here.
